Mr. & Mrs. Knowlton are married, and celebrated their Indianapolis wedding at the Willows on the most coveted day of 2020, October 10th. This classy, black and white, timeless celebration continued on to portraits in downtown Indianapolis for a quintessential shot in front of the Indiana State Capitol.
When I first met Mary over consultation as I heard her wedding day dreams and got to know she and Zack, I knew this would be a dream wedding to be a part of. We had the greatest time together during their Downtown Indianapolis Engagement shoot at the Indiana Art Museum and War Memorial. Mary and Zack showed up dressed to the nines. Their engagement still remains one of my favorite engagement shoots to this day! It was no surprise to find the wedding day with just as much thought and detail.
Mary and Zack married and celebrated at the Willows, a venue in the north Broadripple area, nestled in a small wooded area near a beautiful pond. The ceremony was covered by the most beautiful trees of Autumn. So much joy and emotion surrounded their day. Both Zack and Mary have amazing family and friends who love them so much. They included soil from their hometowns to represent bringing two families together and planted a seed to represent their new life together. Their ceremony concluded with a kiss and followed by a toast and golden hour portraits.
I can’t imagine a classier reception for the classiest couple. I can’t wait to share these images with you, and formally introduce to you, Mr. & Mrs. Knowlton and their Indianapolis Wedding at the Willows.
“What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life — to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting?”
—George Eliot
I’m just speechless – they are all so wonderful! Thank you for capturing the beauty of the day but most of all the love that Mary and Zack have for each other.
Thank you so much Elaine!
