Mr. & Mrs. Jolly are married, and celebrated their classic Downtown Evansville wedding at Tropicana with their loved ones surrounding them. This was one of the most meaningful weddings I’ve ever been a part of. Jay and Hannah are one of the many couples that have had to persevere through lots of unknowns planning a wedding during a pandemic, but they did it with grace.
The Wempe family’s priest, and the Jolly family’s pastor were a part of their ceremony at St. John the Baptist. The wedding was beautiful, and not a detail was missed at their reception hosted by Tropicana. They had a trolly take them around downtown Evansville with their bridal party where they chose to have portraits. Some of my favorite moments of the day include Hannah’s first look with her grandma Wempe, who she has not seen since the start of the pandemic. Her father’s speech was touching and emotional, and he shared “I’ve always wanted a man for Hannah to provide and protect her- and Jay you are that man.” Their families both have a mutual love and respect for one another that is so rare. Hannah’s sisters and newly sister-in laws were a part of her bridal party. If there was a word to represent this day it would be “legacy”. Family was the center of this day, and it explains why Jay and Hannah are the amazing couple that they are.
This incredible Downtown Evansville wedding at Tropicana is one for the books. The wedding was largely beautiful because of the talented vendors that contributed to their day, as shown in the images.
