Whenever I get an inquiry for a Wilds couple, it’s like Christmas. Mr & Mrs. Ploss’s wedding at the Wilds Venue didn’t lack a single detail. There was so much thought and care put into the preparations of the day, therefore making it such a memorable wedding. It was my first time returning to the venue since their special champagne toast engagement session in the fall and styled shoot early October. Needless to say, I missed this place!
But what I love so much about this couple is that they were far more concerned about enjoying one another (and everyone else who came to celebrate) than anything else. Their love and respect for one another will make for a beautiful marriage and a forever friendship. I’m so thankful they invited me into their lives and the most important day in their new family. They truly have become dear friends of mine.
The Ploss’s beloved dog Millie was their flower girl. She was styled in pearls (to match the bride) and was such a good girl! It was the perfect accent to their wedding day to make it unique and special to them.
I won’t ever forget the sweet golden hour session in the tall grassy field that glowed at just the right time for some dreamy portraits. If I can, I love removing my couples from the fast-paced flow of the reception and give them a moment to take a breath and enjoy one another’s presence. As much as I can help slow down the day, I do. So excited to share this gallery of my favorite images.
You are so special to everyone who knows you. You are the kind of couple that deserves the best. Cheers to a long, happy, adventurous marriage with lots of puppy snuggles and good wine!
xoxo,
Jordan
