CJ + Alyssa

You two have mastered the “take a moment to soak it in” on a wedding day, and provided (for me) for each other so many sweet moments that you’ll remember forever. I got the incredible privilege to document your love, the promises you made to one another, the community who celebrates with you, and all of the beautiful details and hard work that went into this day. Thank you for asking me, I will never forget this beautiful Cyrus Place wedding.

The rain could not stop us! Looking at the weather forecast I started to slightly panic that we wouldn’t find much opportunity to get outside for some portraits. I grabbed the bubble umbrellas, said a quick prayer, and hoped for the best! BUT now, I kind of hope to get a rainy wedding day. Holy moly, the rain made for some beautiful photos!

Thankfully, I had a bride and groom who were so flexible and fun, and a bridal party who was up for anything! We were able to get some super fun portraits in the middle of the street in downtown Indianapolis, and lots of laughs throughout the day. Not only was the bridal party fun, but sooo sweet! One of my favorite moments of a wedding day is having a time to encourage the bride, with her bride tribe surrounding her. These gals love Alyssa so much. One of the things most evident, was how others centered Alyssa is. She has a quiet grace and servant’s heart about her, and her girls have all ben so impacted by her friendship and love for people. CJ is a true gentleman! I’ve been able to witness him lovingly care for Alyssa, moments where he has gotten overwhelmed by his love for her, and how he loves the people around him as well. From the beginning, he has lavished his bride with intentional dates and gifts to show his love for her! Take notes, guys!

The details of this day were so beautiful. The team of vendors were amazing, and so many people contributed to make this day as special as it was. Here’s to the newlyweds!!
